Assistive Technology Champions Program

What is the Assistive Technology Champions Program?

The Assistive Technology (AT) Champions Program empowers young adults (16+) with disabilities to share their passion for AT and grow their advocacy, outreach, and social media skills. Through this paid internship program, young adults learn about various forms of AT and share their knowledge with accessible posts on DCATP’s social media. AT Champions also advocate for greater access to AT in the District.

How does it work?

If you or a young adult you know are interested in being an AT Champion, contact DCATP Outreach Specialist Deborah Kale at (202) 547-0198 ext. 141 or dkale@uls-dc.org. We will accept new applications in the summer of 2024.
